A gentle light through recovery — for people and animals.
The care that matters most usually happens between appointments — at home, day after day. Qumira exists to make that stretch clearer and calmer: it turns the quick note a practitioner would jot after a visit into a branded, trackable plan the patient (or their owner) can actually follow.
Great care, handed over on a scrap of paper.
Practitioners give brilliant advice. The trouble is what happens after the door closes.
The advice that gets lost
A physio explains the home exercises. A vet runs through post-op rest, meds and red flags. It's clear in the room — and half-forgotten by the time someone's at home, scribbled on a corner of paper or a fading memory.
Tools that don't speak to each other
Handouts, spreadsheets, reminder texts, a portal that feels like nobody's. The recovery story ends up scattered, so it's hard to see who's keeping up and who's quietly struggling.
Two worlds, the same gap
Whether the patient is a person reporting on themselves or an animal an owner is caring for, the gap is identical: good advice, given once, with no calm way to follow it through between visits.
What we believe, and how it shows up.
A small set of convictions shapes every decision we make — what to build, and just as importantly, what to leave out.
Calm is a feature
Recovery is stressful enough. Qumira is warm, plain-spoken and uncluttered — a gentle light, not another dashboard shouting for attention. For the person following a plan, it should feel encouraging, never clinical or cold.
You approve everything
We use AI to do the typing, never the deciding. It drafts a plan from your note; you review, edit and sign it off. Nothing reaches a patient or owner until you say so. The practitioner stays in charge, always.
One system, both domains
Human physio and animal care aren't two products bolted together. You pick your domain at signup and the wording, fields, notes and plan style follow — so it reads like it was built for you, whichever side you're on.
It feels like yours
Plans carry your practice's name, colours and logo — not ours. We're the quiet infrastructure behind your care; the relationship on screen is between you and the people (and animals) you look after.
A small team who care about recovery.
Qumira is a founder-led project — built solo right now, working closely with practitioners across human physio and animal care. It runs as a sole proprietorship while we prove the product out; we'll incorporate and grow the team as it earns the right to.
Founder-led · early access
We'd rather introduce real people than invent a cast list, so full team bios will land here as the team grows. For now, you're talking to the founder.
Think you should be on this list? We'd love to hear from you.
Help us light the way through recovery.
Whether you guide people or animals back to themselves, we'd love to build this with you. Come and try it.
